I’m sure you’ve heard them all…alarm clocks with crazy features to help get you out of bed.
I’ve read about ones that squelch a 120-decibel alarm (like a rock concert volume), and even ones that bounce around and roll all over your room when it goes off, hoping you’d get up and chase it…even ones that squirt water…but THIS….this one is evil.
Imagine an alarm clock that connects via WiFi to your bank account and donates YOUR money to an organization you HATE when you decide to sleep in. That’s just wrong, but here it is…
The makers at ThinkGeek.com say they are sure you’ll never snooze again after this product. I think that’s nuts.
One of my friends worked a morning radio show, and she’d get up to an alarm clock that would slowly start to light up the room before it went off, so subconsciously the body would think the sun is coming up…and she used it everyday…weird.
Does anyone actually buy these products and USE them? I think we can all say a $10 alarm clock is just fine…and really now, would this actually keep you from snoozing? Share your thoughts about an unusual alarm clock if you know of or use any…
