I’ve always had one shirt I’ve been dying to wear…even back when I lost 80 pounds, and again lost 40. Fitting into that shirt is the long-term goal I have, but why not show some other shirts I’ve worn already, and would love to fit in again! I’ll call them medium-term goal shirts.

1. This gray dress shirt was only worn once. I bought it when I moved to Washington, DC as part of my suits. It was a little tight then, but after the first wash, it shrunk to where I couldn’t wear it anymore. Pounds to lose before wearing this: 26
2. This pink shirt brings back a time when I was confident enough to wear pink (as a dude). I remember wearing this when I was in my regular workout routine, drinking my gallon of water and enjoying how I looked. Pounds to lose before wearing this: 46
3. This is my Paul Oakenfold tour shirt. This was my goal shirt back when I lost 40 in 2006. I remember fitting into this shirt well, and one of my favorite pictures of me is with this shirt on. This shirt is about 8 years old and is starting to look a bit worn, but it would be a real success to get back in it again and wear it till holes started showing up. 4. THE GOAL SHIRT! It’s a Kenneth Cole shirt that still has the price tag on it! It’s form-fitting and I know it will make me look fab once it’s on me. Definitely a clubbin kind of shirt and throw this on with some 33/34 jeans, and I’m living the life I need to be living! Pounds to lose before wearing this: 78
