This is the training schedule I’ll be following for the Las Vegas Marathon 2009. It’s mostly Hal Higdon’s Novice 2 Schedule, except I float around my resting days based on what I’m doing that week and if I have to be at certain events around town.  And if there’s a vacation, I’ll plan around that as well.  I also added the Virginia Beach Half-Marathon on Week 5.  Training for a half-marathon in 5 weeks is quite the accomplishment, but I preface it by saying I’ve been running off and on all summer.  Click any of the linked miles below to read that day’s blog.
