So, I’m writing this blog after I proposed to Lindsey.  My heart has been racing for the past couple days leading up to the “moment”, and we both ran 4 miles tonight after work, which was only a couple hours before I was to propose.  It was the hardest run, mostly because my heart was already racing.  It felt like I had to run in order to slow my heart down!

When I forced myself to take my mind off running, it was nice, but I’d start thinking about it a minute or two later, and I’d be slowing down and forgetting how to run.  When I finished, I was going to fake exhaustion in order to plead my case to go down to the Jefferson Memorial and destress. But actually, I was exhausted, so it didn’t take much acting skills to convince Lindsey to go.

Thoughts:

I just want to get this run over with so I can relax!

What I’ll remember most:
Hoping the rain would hold off, so I can convince her to take a walk to the Jefferson Memorial (to change her world).
